APOTRONIK Datenservice GmbH, a company of the Kwizda Group, is a competent IT partner for Austrian pharmacies and has been developing complete IT solutions for pharmacies for more than 30 years.

We are looking for a dedicated developer for the further development of the Apotronik pharmacy webshop for our location south of Vienna.

MAGENTO DEVELOPER (M/F/D)

PART-TIME 30h or FULL-TIME with home office option

Your tasks:

  • Further development and maintenance of Magento 2 webshops
  • Takeover or internal rebuilding of the GIT version administration
  • Analysis regarding Magento 2 stability and code integrity
  • Error identification and implementation of fixes/solutions
  • Integration of third party APIs, including payment gateways
  • Development of Magento extension
  • Testing and integration of external Magento extensions
  • Performance optimisation: optimizing code and database queries,  minimizing CSS and JavaScript files,  deferring render-blocking resources and off-screen images, maintaining and implementing server-side caching technologies
  • Extention and adaptation of Magento-WAWI interfaces
  • Ensuring the best possible software quality through regular software tests and documentation
  • Regular on site coordination with the e-commerce and development team

Your skills:

  • Completed technical education (HTL, university degree or comparable qualification)
  • Extensive experience with e-commerce/WebShop systems
  • Very good knowledge and references with:
    • Magento 2
    • Apache
    • PHP
    • MySQL
    • Experience with merchandise management connections (REST, JSON, e.g.)
    • GIT version control, preferably BitBucket
  • Furthermore: Good knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery and Linux
  • Advantageous experience with:
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Magento migrations (Magento 1.9 to Magento 2.4)
    • Magento 2 Extensions (LitExtension, Mirasvit, Amasty, Mageplaza, e.g.)
  • Sense of responsibility, reliability. willingness to learn
  • Independent, analytical and structured way of working, solution-oriented
  • Ability to communicate in English or German and to work in a team
